Aug 12 eclipse — watch safely

Never look at the partial phases with bare eyes, phone cameras, or regular sunglasses.
ISO-certified eclipse glasses, or a #14 welder’s glass, for direct viewing.
No glasses? Build a pinhole projector: two cards, a pin-hole in one, project the crescent onto the other with your back to the Sun.
Totality only (Sun fully covered) is safe to view briefly with unprotected eyes — and only if you are on the path.
